Gourmande inspired me to get started with Food Photography, when I
discovered her work on a French program in 2010: Her obsession for beautiful
foods is catching. I met her later on when attending one of her workshop in Sicily.
Put the
story down on paper is another story. I found out about the importance of the voice with Dianne Jacob, author of the book “Will write about food” at a
Food Writing and Photography workshop in Turkey. Lately I attended another writing workshop
with Dianne, teamed with Jamie Schler. I am still astonished with what came out
of my plume. Very raw and personal, my body was shaking and my eyes watering. I was not expecting that.
